From an early age, I was that kid who was always glued to a book. As a young impressionable boy, science fiction blew my mind open to possibilities beyond the seen and normal. I loved Phillip K Dick’s visions and twists of human nature. As a teenager, Dr. John Lilly’s books led me to experiment with consciousness with LSD in a dark closet and also while reading Alan Watts’ books. As I looked back into my life of books there are many. My walls are full of them. However each of these books stood out and as I recalled them and looked through them, I found profound strong threads leading me to where I am now. Consciousness fields, evolution of consciousness, and a levels of consciousness perspective on all aspects of life have been strong themes for me. I have also been drawn to particularly the scientific and also the philosophical exploration of all of this as well as consciousness beyond humans.
Each book set me up for the next, it seems, even when read decades later. It feels now like a Super Synchronicity, as Dr. Gary Schwartz would say, way, way too many threads coming together to be chance. Without the sequence, would I have been open to the next one? I don’t think so. Thank you, Sandie, for this opportunity to examine my life through books. I hope that some of these books will be a thread on the path of someone reading this.

The Center of the Cyclone: An autobiography of Inner Space by Dr. John C. Lilly MD
In junior high school I went to Seacamp in the Florida keys and interacted with Dolphins. This led me to find Dr. John C. Lilly and his book Mind of the Dolphin: A Nonhuman intelligence. This confirmed my experience with Dolphin intelligence and solidified my sci-fi certainty of intelligence beyond humans. This exploration led me to this book. My young mind was blown by his scientific approach to inner exploration with LSD and sensory deprivation to reproduce a near-death experience, and experience with guides and the end of the tunnel of light. It led me to try the experiment myself, though a dark closet full of shoes had to substitute for a float tank. I hoped to connect across the veil to a higher intelligence. Dr. Lilly’s thoughtful explorations of consciousness and his intelligence as a scientist are worth revisiting.
Many Lives, Many Masters

As a young man, this book was my first introduction to past lives. I connected with Weiss’s scientific approach and initial skepticism that gave way to exploring the experiences of his patients. It opened me to the multi-dimensional, timeless nature of being human, which I have explored all my life. We have so many influences that we may be unaware of, past-life influences, guides, loved ones, who have passed over, and other non-human intelligences.
Super Synchronicity: Where Science and Spirit Meet by Gary E. Schwartz. PhD
Dr. Gary Schwartz is another of the small club of open-minded scientists who follow the data wherever it goes. This book represents just a moment of his life’s work and many deeply interesting books like The Sacred Promise, The G.O.D Experiment, The Truth About Mediums, and The Afterlife Experiments. I am grateful to be now personally working with Gary Schwartz on the FLFE research team, of which he is the Senior Scientist. This book brought clear to me that synchronicities are a language of the Divine, one I hadn’t paid much attention to. Once I met Gary and read the book, I started to notice these stacking multiple occurrences pointing me in certain directions. There must be a fluidity of reality and intelligence organization at work beyond our understanding. I’m very excited and grateful to have Dr. Schwartz writing his next “experiment series” book on FLFE and the high-consciousness field research we are doing.
Leadership and the New Science.

As a developing young businessman, I looked for purpose and meaning in business. This book, represents the start of journey into that. It introduced me to invisible fields, such as the consciousness field created by a strong, clear vision of the future from a leader. I took on the role of the vision-keeper (as much as I could) in the various businesses, bringing everything we do back to a clear vision of the future, which benefitted everyone. I had no idea that consciousness fields would become the center of my interest and life later on. The idea that failure (seemingly) and chaos can lead to a higher order that is supported by the intelligence of the universe (Divinity? Universal Intelligence?) supported me to be at a precipice of change and be excited and confident about it with a knowing of emerging intelligence.
Spiral Dynamics by Don Edward Beck & Christopher C. Cowan
I studied Ken Wilber’s work as a young businessman as well. Of the many useful ways of organizing my thinking and deciphering the world, Spiral Dynamics grabbed me the most. It later became Spiral Dynamics, Integral, incorporating Wilber’s Integral theory in the consciousness levels. Spiral Dynamics is a consciousness scale, much like my later find, the Hawkins Map of Consciousness, which is the basis of FLFE. I found in Spiral Dynamics an explanation for the way people act, what they value, and how to meet them where they are. At the different levels of consciousness, a different lens or way or seeing and being dominates. Especially compelling is its explanation of the chaos during personal and massive cultural and worldwide change. The dying or death of a viewpoint, a way of being, is a death of sorts and we are left in a seemingly chaotic soup of all possibilities. I believe it is the dark night of the soul, where we lose connection with a higher power while a new higher order is emerging and a new higher way of connecting. It has helped me to be calm, alert and certain in those moments.
Power vs Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior by Dr David Hawkins
This book represents to me all of Dr. David Hawkins’ books as this is where I started. These books continued the idea of consciousness levels that I studied in Spiral Dynamics, but with much more detail. Through my friend and FLFE-cofounder Clayten Stedmann, I learned how to measure on the Hawkins Map. It has changed my life and has brought an access to the truth I never thought was possible. Yes, it is easy to go off the road and into the weeds with incorrect testing. Dr. Hawkins’ books and the confirmatory or not testing by Clayten and our growing team brings me back. Dr, Hawkins was one of the highest consciousness people who have been on the planet and I find reading any of his books or watching videos a spiritual energy boost.
The Ra Material

While dense, this five-book-series is packed with interesting information. I read most of them in a high fever while unable to sleep and recovering from a nasty spider bite. I refer to them often as I observe the world and my own spiritual progress. I have found a large measure of peace from them. I have come to appreciate that the negative path of service to self is as valid as the service to others’ path. While I don’t want to be dominated, and take appropriate sovereign measures, I can have a measure of sympathy for them and can bless them on their way. I take comfort and strength from the knowing I received from these books that the positive service to others path has angelic/high consciousness beings available to help at every moment and the other path does not.
The Sasquatch Message to Humanity Book 2

While this may seem even more “out there,” it is the most important book on my list to me. I have read it dozens of times and studied it intensely with others. Book 1 is also critically important at this time for the historical perspective it gives and Book 2 gives us information about our human multi-dimensional nature. To help us understand our multi-dimensional nature, it lays out the dimensions with clarity. Yes, I believe that the Sasquatch are a real people and that they are much older, wiser, consciously multi-dimensional, and of higher consciousness than we are. We need their perspective and they are here to help us evolve and to claim our true nature. I highly recommend a serious read of book 1 and 2. You could read it as fiction and see how it feels to you.
Testimony of Light: An Extraordinary Message of Life After Death by Helen Greaves
This book was very helpful after my son Miles died in 2022. It helped me to understand his journey into the astral realm and informed the conversations he and I had through Clayten and other sensitives. The “other side” became much more concrete and full of detail than I imagined.
The Water Wizard

I have become recently fascinated by Viktor Schauberger and his deep understanding of natural forces, especially the movement of water. Water as the blood of the earth, in a literal way, carrying nutrients and moving and acting in ways not understood by current hydrologists and other scientists. The vortex movement and inherent energy in a healthy bubbling stream is informing our FLFE work with water and its support of consciousness. Without sufficient healthy energetic water, our journey of rising in consciousness can be slowed or impeded.
