Master of Voice | Angelic Sound Healer

Stewart Pearce

When Sandie asked me to compile a list of my favorite spiritual writers I was overjoyed. I have a large library and was awake to the “new age” in the mid-seventies, experiencing my own acute initiation at a point during that decade.

Then a sense of foreboding dropped into my consciousness. “How could I choose only ten books?”

Fortunately, love lifted the heaviness, because in order to judiciously choose the “ten” I needed to review so many of the other great titles on my shelves—those that I adore as old friends and who countenance my journey with their wisdom. They most reappear during moments of peak experience when I’m excitedly writing or nervously moving home. Foreboding over, I took a deep breath I chose the “ten” and synthesized their unique essence and awesome appeal.

Sentimentally, I feel this also reassured my other titles, reminding them that they’re still part of my enduring love.

I hope you enjoy this selection!

My 10 Best

(In no order of suggested reading or importance)

A Return to Love
by Marianne Williamson

This is the most radical and compelling book I’ve ever read, dedicated as it is to the fullness of self-accepting love, and how that love can be shared unconditionally in our relationships, as well as becoming a transcendent force in the face of Life, God, and the Divine. Written originally in 1992, I first read the book in its revised version during 1996, a year before Diana died, and Marianne’s gracious writing had a profound effect on my psyche. Why? Because Ms. Williamson is able to identify that hatred is a spiritual malignancy in our world and in our species. Indeed, like cancer, it does its most pernicious work within us. Fear is the causation, and Cancer-fear literally eats us alive, destroying our right-mindedness, leeching our bodies of power and will, and fracturing our communities and cultures. It is true that external remedies can have their effect on this disease, but only love has the power to truly undo its cause, and the pernicious hold it has on us.

Marianne’s book cavorts, sways, dances, and plunges into the essence of love, through many of its rays – which informs, uplifts, celebrates, and ritualizes our intention to love with more grace!

The Soul’s Code
by James Hillman

Published in 1997, James’s book helped me piece together a fuller understanding of my past and future destiny, drawn from the jigsaw puzzle of childhood with all its trauma and joy, drawn from years of exploration within my psyche, drawn from therapeutic emotional autopsies, and gathered from the major stimuli that had propelled me along the path of life. The objectifying result was that I developed a gestalt for how life could truly serve me, and with this understanding, I began to reveal my soul’s purpose.

Of all the mythic writers that I’ve read, particularly throughout the eighties to the beginning of the twenty-first century, The Soul’s Code offers a liberating and exciting approach to themes such as mysticism, belief, identity, faith, freedom, expansion, and consciousness. This allows clarity to take place concerning the invisible mystery at the center of every life that voices the fundamental question, “What is it in my heart that I must do and be…..what reasoning must I acquire about life?”

I met a communion of light beings in 1987 known as the Angels of Atlantis, in a profound and mystical experience on Glastonbury Tor, during the Harmonic Convergence, and Hillman’s book gave me a greater understanding of the concepts held by earlier civilizations about the ‘Daimon,’ ‘Genius,’ and ‘Guardian Angel’ experience. With the glorious possibility that life can be lived in conjunction with celestial forces, rather than in an existential zone of one’s own narcissism.

The Law of Divine Compensation
by Marianne Williamson

Published in 2012 Marianne’s book is literally packed with extraordinary information about the evolution of contemporary spirituality, centered around the social events that were flanking the precession of the Equinoxes – this Astrological significance took place during the latter part of 2012, and specifically around the Winter Solstice.

At a time when the established institutions, which we counted on to support our financial and cultural well-being, had almost gone completely haywire, many people were and still are looking for alternative ways for gaining economic security, and spiritual freedom. Indeed, Doctrines and Dogmas, both religious and economic, are being left behind as a deeper realization of the power of consciousness and its primacy in the creation of human affairs, has become a more popular avenue for a happy life. Spiritual truth is expressed in many forms, and this book reveres the composite nature of the main faiths, whilst triumphantly revealing a way back to the origin and reason for spiritual faith. It espouses that the Universe is rich with a great intelligence, from which planetary life is created, and therefore it will always have our backs, enabling us to transform and live abundant lives. Yet only when we change the nature of our thinking from fear and limitation, to faith and love. Marianne reminds us of the subtle laws of the Cosmos, and how we may return to the intrinsic mechanisms that give us truth, purpose and meaning.

You Can Heal Your Life
by Louise Hay

Louise was one of the great pioneers who investigated the unique connection between our body-mind energies, and provides in her many books fascinating information about how disease can be reversed by simply altering mental patterns. In fact, she discovered this vital relationship by manifesting cancer herself, which she then healed by altering mental and physical habits, and by using positive affirmations.

Louise writes in this book – “I KNOW that if we are WILLING to do the mental work of releasing through forgiveness, almost anything can be healed. The word “incurable,” which seems so frightening to so many, really only means that the condition cannot be cured by outer methods or drugs. This means we must go within to change the causation and not just the effect. After all, the condition came from nothing and will go back to nothing.”

The book is packed full of immensely relevant information to distinguish the mind-body marriage and specializes in the use of AFFIRMATIONS to quell disease, uplift into empowerment, or transform personal challenge.

This book is a must for any healer, as well as being a reference compendium for those who are alerted to the nature of the anatomy of spirit.

How To Love and Be Loved
by Paramhansa Yogananda

Yogananda was one of the great spirit teachers in the early part of the twentieth century, and during the 1920’s brought his techniques and teachings derived through a form of ancient soul awakening, to the West. Indeed, he was the first Master of Yoga to make his home in the West, and the Centers he founded in California are still flourishing today.

As a visionary Yogananda explored the substance, definition, and quality of our relationship processes and their Divine potential, and it is through these observations that he has synthesized his experience into this fine book. Yogananda writes from a practical and entertaining point of view and expresses profound wisdom about the challenges we face in our personal and professional relationships, of how negativity and suffering can be solved or redirected, by going inwards to the wisdom and clarity of our soul’s voice. Yogananda’s words on the future of our relationships needing to being infused with greater clarity, inspiration and Divine love is a beautiful concept.

The Four Agreements
by Don Miguel Ruiz

Don Miguel arises from the Toltec spiritual hereditary of southern Mexico, and his people were known as the ‘women and men of knowledge’, for they were the Seers of their nation. Toltec wisdom and knowledge arise from the same essential unity of truths that all the sacred traditions of the world possess, and the four agreements pour from the firmament of these Toltec teachings. Reading this fine book which was published in 1997 one is taken deep into the wisdom of how to ‘dream’ our world into creation, and by so doing aligns with the four great principles that allow rightful doing:

BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST

With these tenets in mind, I’ve found that they provide a sacred apparatus that always allows a balance between our personal perception of people’s behaviors, and what is in truth taking place.

Benedictus
by John O’Donohue

John was an Irish Catholic Priest, a Hegel Scholar, a Celtic Mystic and a fine Poet. Indeed, most of his poems were inspired by the landscape of Conamara Ireland, the sincere people who decorated his lifepath, and the profound faith he felt held in by the Divine. This book is packed full of some of his most outstanding poetry, and having known John personally, Benedictus accompanies me on my travels, as the reflections provided in his poetry always illuminate one’s spiritual quest.  John’s philosophy was wrought by the belief that Benediction or Blessing is a virtue at the center and pith of life. He believed that a blessing is a “sacred invocation where the human heart pleads and aligns with the divine heart. There is nothing more intimate in a life than the secret territory where blessing is anchored!”

John’s poetry is like finely-written manuscript, and never ceases to inspire, amaze, and create wonder. Here is part of his MATINS:

“Blessed be all things,
Wings of breath,
Delight of eyes,
Wonder of whisper,
Intimacy of touch,
Urgency of thought,
Miracle of health,
Eternity of soul,
And Embrace of God.”

Anatomy of The Spirit
by Caroline Myss

This book is an insightful, innovative and inspirational journey into the embodiment and use our spiritual power, as opposed to the limiting material power that fixates the world of form. In her writing, Caroline offers a much deeper vision of true power – the power of the human spirit.

The Anatomy of the Spirit presents an exciting new way to understand the seven energy centers of the body, the Chakras, from which our power can be interpreted, and it integrates Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Buddhic concepts of power into seven universal spiritual truths. This knowledge is the key to personal power and it is formulated from the very blueprint of spiritual faith, as represented in the four great Faiths.

Caroline writes:

“The universal jewel within the four major religions is that the Divine is locked into our biological system in seven stages of power that eventually lead us to become more refined and transcendent in our personal definitions of power.”

Dying To Be Me
by Anita Moorjani

Writing at the time of the 2020 pandemic means that I’m observing the death of not just my fellow inhabitants, but also the decay of an old order—an establishment that no longer serves or represents the people it was given form to secure and protect. Death is in the air, and as this is so, many of us are meditating on our own mortality, asking vital questions about the presence of death and the possibility of resurrection: “What exists after death, if at all?” “Is the mythos about death true, that material life is a preparation for a non-material existence, post the dying experience. And does this mirror the essence and teaching of resurrection!”

These significant questions are currently percolating through the consciousnesses of so many spiritual wayfarers, and through the morphic intelligence of our planetary field arises a book (published in 2013) about a woman who died of cancer, and then came back to life again—the phenomenon we refer to as Near Death Experience—and this is Anita Moorjani.

Anita’s book contains the extraordinary story of her near-fatal cancer experience, how she battled the disease for four years, evolved a deepening wisdom about life, and developed an intense conversation with the cancer that killed her, to then resume life. Now Anita teaches the essence of what she experienced, allaying the myriad fears about death, illuminating the conviction about the in-between stages of her consciousness between life and death, and what transpired as she came back into Earth’s level of waking consciousness—with the distinct knowledge that she was cured.

Anita teaches globally through the premise of “Love is all there is!” reminding us that we need to wake up to the nature of the Holy Instant and live in the present with reverence for life. Anita humbly feels that she has been given the privilege of being an instrument for something much greater to take place by communing with the field of Spirit. It’s an excellent book, and so please do read it!

Zero Limits
by Joe Vitale

Joe has brought us the most wonderful story about how an entire ward of mentally ill criminals was healed in a Hawaiian hospital, without being given professional drug therapy or conventional psychotherapy. This occurred through the magic of a Hawaiian Doctor known as Dr. Huw Linn.

Zero Limits is about returning to the zero state, where nothing seemingly exists, but where infinite potential is in the possibility of creation. In zero state, there are no thoughts, deeds, memories, strategies, or principles, all that exists is an inchoate state of becoming. From this emergent state, the Ho’oponopono exists as the breath of the Source and holds great magic for healing and abundant manifestation.

Ho’oponopono brings us into the profound reality that consciousness is a screen for our creative process, and that the spirit of Hawaii beseeches we awaken to this fact, becoming disciplined and reverential in the exploration and use of consciousness. Furthermore, Ho’oponopono opens the inner world of dreaming, in coherence with the outer world of form, and that we must live the conviction of “Be the change you want to see!” so that the outer world of manifestation can reflect the inner world of pure intent – that we are creating paradise by our dreaming. This healing technology is based around the central premise of the mantra:

“I’m sorry,
Please forgive me,
I love you,
THANK YOU”

—Diana, Princess of Wales.

Stewart Pearce’s new book, Diana, The Voice of Change is not your average biography and nor is it a run-of-the-mill “Kiss and Tell” tome. While it does share some of Stewart Pearce’s personal memories, stories, and anecdotes that offer a new perspective and insight into Diana’s life during her last two years on earth when he was working with her, it also reveals the truth about Diana’s extraordinary principles of life—the codes that helped to sustain her love and heal the pain of marital betrayal and divorce, as well as the secret keys and sacraments that enabled Diana to focus her extraordinary life and destiny.
